Erika Kustra became an educational developer in 1999, beginning to facilitate sessions earlier during her graduate and postdoctoral work in physiological psychology. She has been EDC Chair, EDC Secretary, STLHE Newsletter Editor, and participated in EDC Action Groups. In the last six years, Erika has facilitated over 60 invited workshops nationally and internationally. She co-authored guides on topics including learning outcome and educational development portfolios; published articles on scholarly teaching, teaching and learning centres, and teaching culture; and led multi-institutional projects to examine teaching cultures. Erika has also been part of award-winning teams for the Alan Blizzard Award, EDC. and the recipient of an Excellence in Leadership Award.
